WELCOME TEZ

Tez, a beautiful palomino, is a retired champion show jumper with an impressive arena record. Ridden by his teenage owner, Eliza, the pair proudly won the 120 cm National Showjumping Championship before Tez settled into a gentler pace of life here at Jabulani Sanctuary. Clients are naturally drawn to his calm, goofy, and trustworthy personality, making him a favourite among participants. Tez’s all-time favourite treat is a bag of Twisties!

OUR NEW ROUND-YARD

After years of planning and receiving counsel approval, we’ve built our 325 square metre roofed Roundyard cover. Carefully and beautifully constructed, with lighting for evening use, it creates a safe, welcoming space that allows us to run all-weather sessions throughout the year and to offer after-school sessions during the winter months.

NEW OFFICES

After many years operating from an open, stable office space, we’ve now enclosed one of the stables within our stable complex. It provides a fully enclosed, air-conditioned, and heated room for our one-on-one counselling sessions.

This addition builds on our existing two office spaces and our art therapy building, creating a comfortable environment for our equine-assisted therapy clients.

There’s a lot of excitement here at Jabulani Sanctuary as our Equine Therapy Team has grown! We are thrilled to welcome Kippa, a beautiful Welsh cross Arab pony, who has kindly joined us from Project Hope Horse Welfare Victoria. Kippa’s gentle nature and unique personality will be a wonderful addition to our team, and we can’t wait for our clients to meet and work with her as part of their therapeutic journey.
